    Scheduled Hours/Days: Monday-Friday 8 hours/day

    Qualifications: Licensed as a School Social Worker by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board.

    Pay Rate/Range: NEA Agreement BA1 -$55,441 - MA40 -$91,619. Base pay DOQ (2024-2025 NEA Agreement) - Subject to change upon the settlement of the 25-27 Master Agreement.

    Job Summary:
    Under the direction of the Director of Special Services and Building Principal, the Licensed School Social Worker provides direct and indirect social work services to students experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioral problems that interfere with their performance in school, and facilitates communication among school, home and community providers.

    Responsibilities:
    Provides school social work services to students who are at-risk for school failure and/or are demonstrating social/emotional/behavioral problems within the school setting.

    • Provide direct and indirect social work services to students experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioral problems that interfere with their early development ( Birth- age 5) or performance in school.

    • Facilitates communication among school, home and community agencies.

    • Provides instruction, evaluation and ongoing assessment; work as a team member in the special and general education environment with students.

    • This position serves children and families Birth - age 5 Early intervention and at Northfield High School grades 9-12 on two separate campuses.
