JOB TITLE:

Program Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE:

The growth and advancement of the MBA program at the College of Business significantly depend on this role. This position builds strong relationships with alumni, industry stakeholders, and the community while organizing essential events and activities that enrich the MBA experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop, coordinate and administer student enrichment/academic programs for all College of Business MBA students.
  • Provide individual consultation and problem solving to students, faculty and administrators.
  • Coordinate services and programs with other university departments to assure smooth delivery of services, coordinate program efforts and reduce duplication of efforts.
  • Coordinate MBA events
  • Manage alum communications, including newsletters, social media updates, and event invitations.
  • Organize alum events, networking opportunities, and mentorship programs.
  • Build relationships with employers and industry partners to support corporate engagement.

SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Participate in planning, maintenance and achievement of departmental goals.
  • Provide coordination of special events.
  • Serve on committees as appropriate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's degree

Experience: 1 year work-related experience

Required licensure, certification, registration or other requirements: None

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Experience working with students
  • Understanding of University policies and procedures
  • Understanding of recruitment and enrollment processes

On-campus: This position provides vital support to campus customers, and the successful candidate must be available to work on campus.
