Title- Procurement Agent 3 Location- San Antonio, TX Duration- 12 Months Description Come join BDS Mobility, Surveillance, & Bombers division, and the unique opportunity to work on the next generation's Executive Transport Aircraft. Procurement Agent will use their expertise to support supply chain activities at the Client Company. In joining this program, you will be part of an outstanding team of supply chain experts making history as we shape this one of a kind next generation Aircraft. Position Responsibilities: Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions. Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management. Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance. Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or higher. 3+ years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer. 3+ years of experience in Contracts & Pricing and/or Supplier Management Procurement. 3+ years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions. 3+ years of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc. 3+ years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts. 3+ years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations). 3+ years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA). Travel: Potential travel required (up to 5%)
