DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
While batching associates are expected to create water, batch DEF, and transfer DEF to the storage tanks. They are responsible for maintaining the Quality of the DEF they blend. They are expected to maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the areas around the Storage Tanks, Batching Tanks, Urea Loading Area (into the Batch Tank) and Water Storage Tanks. This also includes preparing the railcars for unloading which includes connecting air lines, product unloading hoses, and heating hoses. While in the batching area associates are to maintain water quality by monitoring the RO and DI Water Systems. This also includes maintaining Batch Samples and Batch Logs. They are to DEF change filters as needed.
Associates are expected to safely perform shipping and receiving functions to include the loading and unloading of trucks, preparation of orders, and the accurate receiving of inbound materials. In addition, they are responsible for container filling (tote and drum), maintaining the predetermined levels of the containers, and the Tote exchange program. Associates are expected to maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the dock areas (to include the truck bay parking), Tote and Drum loading Area. They are also expected to interact as needed in a respectful manner to the various customers and vendors that come to the building on a regular basis. Associates are expected to train drivers on occasion to use Microload DEF truck loading system.
Associates shall maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following Company standards and procedures. Associates are expected to assist maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the whole Facility along with unloading and loading areas of the warehouse. This includes assisting to keep the office, breakroom, restrooms, and the Lab Room areas clean. Job related tools and equipment are to be maintained and stored in their respective areas.
Associates will ensure the proper operation of electrical and mechanical equipment. They are to assist with preventive maintenance and repairs on the equipment that is used in the facility. This is to include plumbing and minor electrical work. Being able to weld is a plus.
Associates are also expected to work with computers and interface with the company's Warehouse Management Software. Duties include receiving orders, printing finished goods BOLs, entering and scanning BOLs, completing Work Orders and assisting with inventories. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
