Graduate Assistant: International Student Services
The Graduate Assistant (GA) supports the Office of International Student Services (ISS) and international students by providing programming and administrative support and assisting with international admissions activities. The GA responds to and assists with the needs of the ISS office while gaining exposure to the various knowledge areas in international education. The GA also participates in regular staff meetings and professional development opportunities as applicable.
Essential Duties:


  • Assist in coordinating and leading ISS programming including Admitted Student Day, International Education Week, and workshops.
  • Provide administrative support to the ISS office by assisting with front desk and phone calls as needed, student records, office newsletter, and general support to meet the needs of international students.
  • Train in basic F-1 immigration regulations to assist with basic advising and request processing.
  • Attend weekly ISS staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Assist with and support international recruitment activities as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education & Experience:


  • Bachelor's Degree: Required
  • Student accepted into or enrolled in a CSP graduate program in Fall Semester 2025 and Spring Semester 2026.
  • Experience working successfully in diverse groups and settings
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously, balance priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Experience living, working, or studying abroad outside US preferred.
