Job Description

Position Description:

The Sr Business Systems Specialist assists and contributes to the design, development, and deployment of business systems to meet division goals and objectives. This role will act as a bridge between departments to help IT members understand business objectives and requirements, as well as help stakeholders utilize the full functionality of the systems available.

Provide effective support for Finance and Accounting systems including Oracle ERP (General Ledger, AP, Assets, Procurement, Fusion Accounting Hub), Oracle EPM (ARCS), and Finance Data Lake. Maintain and enhance system configuration, security, and reporting. Ensure data integrity of financial systems through validation and balancing. Maintain appropriate controls. Implement system and process improvements that promote stability, data integrity, system performance and process efficiency. Perform inside of a highly collaborative team that solves problems in a collective and cooperative manner.

Position Location:

This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Lincoln, NE) and partially from home.

What you do:



  • Operationally support third party application systems.
  • Implement configuration and workflow changes.
  • Administer system security.
  • Manage process scheduling.
  • Execute changes according to change management protocols.
  • Resolve issues for end users.
  • Validate and balance system feeds.
  • Facilitate system upgrades and refreshes.
  • Validate system changes.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing.
  • Recommend system improvements to support business objectives.
  • Develop and manage reporting from production systems and data lake.
  • Maintain system documentation and SOPs.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What you bring:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 1-3 years of related experience required. Relevant experience could include experience working within finance systems, experience in system configuration, experience as a business system admin, or any combination of the same.
  • Experience working with Oracle (Fusion ERP, EPM, etc.) desired.
  • Reporting and analytics development experience in tools such as Power BI, SmartView, OTBI, BI Publisher and strong Excel skills desired.

About this Position's Pay
The pay range posted reflects a nationwide minimum to maximum covering all potential locations where the position may be filled. The final determination on pay for any position will be based on multiple factors including role, career level, work location, skill set, and candidate level of experience to ensure pay equity within the organization. This position will be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits package (see above for details). This position will be eligible to participate in our Short-Term Incentive Plan with the annual target defined by the plan.
