Customer Account Specialist

We are growing again and seeking an experienced Customer Account Specialist to our team. This position is responsible for professionally coordinating information flow and task administration between sales, customers and all departments within Pro-Active to achieve company's goals of providing timely and perfect product design and manufacturing services to its customers.
Essential Functions


  1. Be the main point of contact for assigned accounts.
  2. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and complaints.
  3. Collaborate with team members in a professional manner for the good of the company.
  4. Maintain job status and progress with customer or sales as required.
  5. Receive RFQs (Request for Quotation) from sales or customers.
  6. Correspond with customers to obtain missing information for quotations to ensure accurate quote development.
  7. Coordinate information transfer between the customer and all departments within Pro-Active to support timely and accurate manufacturing of customer product.
  8. Receive and review customer purchase orders to validate PO information and confirm that the customer's expectations can be met.
  9. Send order acknowledgments for all orders received (upon PO review, SO entry, acceptance of terms, and production due date).
  10. Keep ERP system updated with daily activity, tasks, and maintain & deploy priorities to key individuals or departments at Pro-Active.
  11. Track and expedite late orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
  12. Administer customer order variances to ensure Pro-Active is compensated for changes that arise from customer or incomplete documentation provided by customer.
  13. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience


  1. Associate degree in related field
  2. 1 year of related customer service experience in a manufacturing industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Preferred Education and Experience


  1. Familiar with electronic assembly
  2. Strong knowledge of Sales Force
