Adjunct Faculty

The School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon is seeking a deeply experienced professional to instruct and mentor students in commercialization techniques and entrepreneurship. This part-time, fixed term Adjunct Faculty role will complement the efforts of a member of the regular faculty, to design and deliver a half-semester (mini) course to computer science and business students. This role will include course design or redesign, delivery of lectures, leading classroom discussions, design and grading of assignments, quizzes and exams, coaching for individual students or groups of students, and fostering a healthy and productive learning environment for students of all backgrounds. The incumbent should be prepared to provide a wealth of examples from practice outside of academia to enrich the learning experience and build confidence among students.
