Founded in 1846, AP today remains the most trusted source of fast, accurate, unbiasednews in all formats and the essential provider of the technology and services vital to the news business. More than half the world's population sees AP journalism every day. The Associated Press seeks four (4) part-time, temporary newspersons for its Regional Sports Desk. The part-time hires will be required to write, edit and re-write sports stories including college and professional leagues. To perform the tasks, they will be required to communicate with various sources, including but not limited to AP staff members, stringers and Sports Information Directors. These are part-time positions ranging from 4 to 14 hours per week that requires scheduling flexibility. Theseroles can be based in any U.S. city. We are looking for newspersons who will:
