We are looking for a strategic, collaborative, and impact-driven Associate Director, Marketing to lead our Healthcare Provider (HCP) marketing efforts for the Dravet Syndrome indication across North America.

This position can be located in our corporate headquarters in Atlanta, GA or our Raleigh, NC office.

About the Role

In this highly visible role, you will shape and execute integrated marketing strategies that increase awareness, drive adoption, and build long-term loyalty for our rare epilepsy treatment, helping to establish it as the standard of care in Dravet Syndrome. You will serve as a key connection point between cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver meaningful, compliant, and value-driven messaging to physicians and allied healthcare professionals.

What you'll do

HCP Engagement & Strategic Marketing

  • Lead all marketing initiatives related to Dravet Syndrome, from strategic planning to flawless execution and optimization.
  • Create and implement multi-channel HCP engagement strategies that are insight-driven, aligned with brand goals, and approved through Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) processes.
  • Partner with the Patient Services team to effectively communicate ONWARD program offerings to HCPs, office staff, and caregiver audiences.
  • Drive tactical planning and execution for national and regional HCP congresses in partnership with the Marketing Operations team.

Field Team Partnership & Enablement

  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development lead to ensure field teams are well-trained and equipped with the latest messaging and promotional tools.
  • Actively support Planning of Action (POA) meetings and initiatives, contributing to strategy, training, and field pull-through efforts.
  • Regularly engage with the field force to gather feedback, provide updates, and amplify energy and confidence in available marketing support tools.

Brand Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Support the annual brand planning process, ensuring alignment of marketing tactics with Critical Success Factors (CSFs) and overall brand strategy.
  • Manage external agency partners and vendors, ensuring programs are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Serve as a key cross-functional partner, aligning messaging and strategy across HCP, patient, and caregiver audiences.

Insight Generation & Messaging Evolution

  • Collect, analyze, and apply HCP and field insights to continuously improve messaging, programs, and field materials.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and engage patient representatives for both promotional and non-promotional initiatives.
  • Partner with the Caregiver Marketing Lead to ensure seamless translation of HCP messaging for caregiver engagement when appropriate.

Interested? For this role, we're looking for the following education, experience, and skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

Minimum of 10 years in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a strong focus on HCP marketing or sales

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in rare disease and/or specialty drug commercialization
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in operational marketing and project management

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • 6 years of marketing experience with proven leadership responsibilities
  • Experience with REMS programs and boxed warning product management
  • Background in neurology or CNS-related therapeutic areas
  • Highly strategic thinker with strong analytical and fact-based decision-making abilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills; strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams
  • Solid understanding of the U.S. healthcare landscape and payer environment

This position's reasonably anticipated salary range is $148,000-194,300 per year. The actual salary offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
