Additional Job Description: The Department of Neuroradiology at the West Virginia University Rockefeller NeuroscienceInstitute is seeking a Neuroradiologist (ranks available are Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV. Duties: In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Qualifications: The candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical licensure. Candidate must have completed radiology residency program and neuroradiology fellowship program and must be ABR eligible/certified as well as Neuroradiology CAQ eligible/certified. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. The department has a nationally recognized Neurointerventional program for state-of-the-art management of cerebrovascular disorders and stroke. Participation and leadership in innovative clinical trials has put this program at the forefront of minimally invasive treatment of head, neck, and spine pathologies. The department has two accredited fellowship programs, a diagnostic neuroradiology fellowship accredited by the ACGME and an endovascular neurosurgery fellowship accredited by CAST. The WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute guides a team of 280 dedicated faculty in providing compassionate patient care and advanced medicine through education, research, and outreach in the many diverse communities we serve. The Institute spearheads efforts to develop innovative solutions for neurological and psychiatric conditions ranging from Alzheimer's to Parkinson's; autism to stroke; and paralysis to chronic pain, addictions, and traumatic brain injury.
