Neuropsychologist responsibilities include, but not limited to, assessing, evaluation, diagnosing, and treating brain-based disorders, exploring treatments and their effectiveness on diminishing brain functionality, and researching to advance our understanding of brain based condition that impact cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.

What You Will Do

• Upholds the standards of the system-wide customer service program
• Conducting psychological testing and assessment and provides assistance in the operation of the epilepsy program
• Researching and experimenting to answer questions about the brains structure and functions.
• Assessing and evaluating symptoms
• Carrying out appropriate testing
• Advising and consulting
• Assisting patients to reach their treatment goals

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
• For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
