Instructional Designer

Overview

SCCI is currently seeking anInstructional Developerto join our team! In this position you will provide support to the Surface Combat Systems Training Center (SCSTC) in the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of CAST Lessons for use aboard shipboard systems. This position is located inDahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of the operator training lessons using Government furnished computer equipment
• Identify and provide content discrepancies to lesson originators and SCSTC for review and validation
• Participate in comment review adjudication meetings relating to CAST IV&V results
• Revise operator lessons through a Life-Cycle process when discrepancies are discovered
• Interface with customers, management, and employees

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance
• High School Diploma
• Minimum of three (3) years of combat system shipboard experience on board an AEGIS platform
• Minimum of five (5) years experience with Instructional Design concepts using a systems approach to Computer Based Training and validation of training requirements
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Have attention to detail, care about the quality of work, and a drive for results
• Must have organizational, task tracking, and follow up skills

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Three (3) years of experience utilizing multi-threat, multi-war force scenarios
