Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 annually (DOE)
Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus

We are seeking a Business Controller to join our team and play a critical role in shaping the strategic and financial direction of the company. Based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and reporting to the Director of Data Planning & Analysis, this role serves as a key business partner to our Senior Leadership Team. You will be instrumental in driving performance, enhancing forecasting, and supporting strategic growth initiatives across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy, Planning & Management
- Support the development and implementation of company-wide strategic and tactical financial initiatives
- Monitor and evaluate short- and long-term strategic financial objectives
- Lead the rolling forecast and capital budgeting processes
- Develop performance metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to track success across revenue, cost of sales, time & material, and expenses
- Provide insights into market positioning through peer analysis and public data review
- Deliver clear, strategic financial advice and decision support to senior leadership
Operations
- Model customer and product line profitability
- Coordinate with department leaders on financial planning and forecasting
- Act as a subject matter expert in assigned areas-providing training and guidance to internal teams
- Support month-end and year-end processes, including journal entries, accruals, and margin analysis
- Participate in acquisition due diligence and integration
Financial Reporting
- Manage forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes
- Ensure accurate, timely consolidation and reporting of financial results
- Assist with preparation of company-wide consolidated financial reports
Team Leadership
- Mentor and coach team members, supporting their development and performance
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture aligned with the company's values
- Provide effective feedback and performance recognition
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA is a plus)
- 8+ years of FP&A experience, preferably in multi-location organizations
- Experience in job costing, WIP, and percentage of completion accounting
- Exposure to foreign currency and international finance is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels
- Working knowledge of Spanish is a plus
- High integrity, strong problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset
