Primary Responsibilities:
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for completing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close activities on time and on quality. They will be responsible for the delivering a complete and accurate income statements and balance sheets for consolidation into the broader companies income statement and balance sheet. The jobholder will have oversight of all accounting functions including (but not limited to) Program Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Receivable Accounting, and Accounts Payable Accounting. Growth and development of members of the Accounting and Finance team will be critical to this role. The Accounting Manager will identify program risks and opportunities on the closing and measure their potential impact on the financial statements by ensuring the mitigation actions are assigned to the appropriate stakeholders and implemented to full effect. He or she will also contribute and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring that the organization is ready and prepared.
The jobholder will participate in department projects and/or cross-department projects. They will act as a team member of the Finance organization to contribute to the integration, automization, and digitalization of the closing process when applicable. He or she will ensure implementation of ERP system enhancements and other financial tools that enhance operational effectiveness. Qualifications Requirements:
