Responsibilities: Participate in buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements providing financial and business due diligence to FORTUNE 1000 and Private Equity investors. Analyze target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings, working capital considerations, and potential liabilities. Design transaction advisory reports, including normalized earnings, valuation model input assumptions, budgets, and indebtedness considerations. Analyze financial statements (including P&L statements) and modify financial models based on analysis. Evaluate revenue data to calculate metrics, including renewal rates, net and gross retention, up-sell and down-sell, and churn. Review sale and purchase agreements to assess and refine accounting and financial terms. WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field plus seven (7) years of experience in the offered position or a related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a master's degree plus three (3) years of experience. Three (3) years of experience must include: Conducting company valuations, including quality of earnings, net working capital, and indebtedness; evaluating financial statement presentation and disclosure implications for legal entity structures, including cooperatives, taxable corporations, LLCs, and benefits plans; IFRS; Pivot Tables; If-Then formulas; and evaluating revenue data to calculate metrics, including renewal rates, net and gross retention, up-sell and down-sell, and churn.
