Position title: Lecturer Application Window Open date: May 5, 2025 Next review date: Monday, Jun 2, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Friday, Aug 1, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description Position(s): Part-Time Philosophy Lecturer Position(s) Starting Date: Fall 2025, Winter 2026, Spring 2026 Fall 2025 quarter - Sept 22nd - December 12th 2025 Salary: Based on rate of approximately $7,582 per course. Qualifications: Candidate must have an MA in philosophy and 1 year of instructing (either as a course instructor or teaching assistant) in philosophy as minimum qualifications. It is desirable that the candidate have teaching experience in the area of the course. Duties: The candidate is expected to meet with students during all scheduled class times plus at least one hour of office hour per week, to create, evaluate, and provide timely feedback on a series of assignments, as appropriate for the class, and to record and report grades for each student.
