Responsibilities
Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire offers multiple inpatient and outpatient programs designed to meet the needs of every patient, no matter the issue. Much more available online at: https://bhbhospital.com/ Position Summary: Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking a PRN Admissions/Intake Coordinator to assist the Admissions RNs, Assessment Counselors, and the Director of Admissions with coordinating assessments, initiating Intake paperwork, insurance information, and working with Receptionist to ensure smooth transition into the admission process. Shift: Day Shift 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Night Shift 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM This opportunity provides the following:
Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Three years' experience working in a hospital intake department preferred. Additional Requirements: Successful completion of CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention training (i.e., CPI). Certification may be obtained during new hire orientation. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
