Job Summary

**This position is located in office in Rapid City, South Dakota. Remote work is not available.**

Assist with the design, development, implementation, and administration of the compensation and retirement programs for Monument Health. Helps to develop and disseminate related communication materials; conducts compliance audits, performs evaluative analysis and prepares executive summary presentations of data. Assure through audits, reports, and personal contact that the compensation and retirement programs are consistently administered in compliance per policy, past practice, and government regulations. Assist with job evaluation methodologies, job descriptions, and market analysis. Supports performance management planning and implementation, and responds to multiple varied and technically diverse assignments. Act as the primary resource for the pension and 403b programs at Monument Health.

Job Description

  • Assists in the development and administration of the compensation program for Monument Health, ensuring the organization's compensation objectives are achieved.
  • Researches and provides advice regarding interpretation and application of the following; Human Resource compensation policies and procedures, Fair Labor Standards, Corporate Compliance, and other labor relations activities.
  • Assists with analysis of competitive practices relative to base, merit, and incentive compensation strategies to ensure market competitiveness is consistent with policy and philosophy.
  • Supports the Compensation Consultant(s) and Manager with the market adjustment process.
  • Pro-actively initiates salary surveys and helps maintain compensation related software. Coordinates the completion of salary surveys timely to ensure accurate and adequate compensation information is received.
  • Learns how new position classifications and reclassifications are completed and assists as needed to ensure appropriate pay range is assigned.
  • Maintains the retirement plans for Monument Health. Assists employees with questions and concerns with pension and 403b plans. Assists with annual audits.
  • Provides assistance with special projects and reports. Helps with presentations as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements

Preferred:

Bachelors Human Resources and/orRelated Field

1+ years HR experience
