Come join our team! $1,000 Retention Bonus (after 1 year) MPS, a division of Macmillan Publishers, a leading US publisher of Trade and Academic titles, has a job opening for a Maintenance Tech in our Gordonsville facility. MPS provides back office support, warehousing, and, fulfillment for Macmillan US, and is their primary distribution facility for North America. The Maintenance Technician plays a versatile and important role in MPS' success. The role is responsible for ensuring the operation of the fulfillment system - to include components of the conveyor system (belts, motors, drives, controls, scales, etc), material handling equipment, warehouse vehicles, and power equipment. Additionally, the role performs maintenance tasks as needed to maintain facilities infrastructure systems.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three years related experience Essential: Technical experience/knowledge in at least one of the following core functions:
