ABOUT THE ROLE

The Associate Manager, Supply Planning is responsible for converting the unconstrained demand plan into a feasible Master Production Schedule (MPS) for our Manufacturing Sites in Stanley and Brantford (Canada), while delivering service level targets at the agreed inventory investment. This role will be responsible for delivering adherence to the global Finished Goods planning process, driving continuous improvement, and enhancing the capabilities of the supply planning team. In addition, this position plays a critical role by providing visibility of future supply risks and constraints (S&OP and S&OE process) and works with the cross functional team to solve the constraints, mitigate risks and set realistic expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and update the weekly/monthly Master Production Schedule (MPS)
  • Have close communication with the manufacturing sites to define production priorities, address capacity constraints and identify and align trade offs.
  • Track Finished Goods shipments from Manufacturing Sites to Distribution Center.
  • Drive continuous improvement in MPS/DRP strategies, processes, and tools within their region - per the Global aligned roadmap
  • Compliance to the Finished Goods planning processes and policies (Ex: master data exceptions, inventory within min/max compliance)
  • Develop and enhance MPS/DRP planning skills and competencies within the region by assessing and identifying knowledge gaps and leading relevant training sessions
  • Escalate supply constraints/risks
  • Work with the X-Functional team to solve supply issues and balance supply and demand

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • University Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration required
  • Minimum of 5+ years of Supply Chain or Business experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience using PC-based applications (such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and/or Access)
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated results and working in a team-based, cross functional environment
  • 2 to 3 years of management or leadership experience
  • Experience working in the CPG industry
  • SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders
  • Ability to drive action and influence decision making at all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in process improvement
  • Ability to work within high-performing teams in highly collaborative environments
  • Quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPI's

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Possible travel to Canada
  • Work 4 days from Charlotte office and 1 day from Stanley Plant
  • Remote work is available for eligible employees after 90 days of service
  • This is position is not eligible for relocation
