Project Manager, Calcagnini Contemplative Center Georgetown University comprises two unique campuses in the nation's capital. Requirements The Project Manager serves as the on-site facilities leader for the Calcagnini Contemplative Center, a 55-acre retreat property in Bluemont, Virginia, operated by Georgetown University. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of facilities maintenance, operations, and security across the center's buildings and grounds, including 28 cabins, a dining hall/kitchen, a community building, chapel, farmhouse, storage shed, and a 3-bedroom caretaker residence. As a live-in role, the Project Manager provides year-round support to ensure the site is prepared for a wide range of spiritual and religious retreats hosted by Georgetown's Catholic, Protestant, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, and Buddhist communities. The position requires flexible scheduling to accommodate evening and weekend retreats, and includes responsibilities such as hands-on maintenance, contractor management, retreat support, safety oversight, and budget tracking. The Project Manager works closely with Campus Ministry and other university stakeholders to provide a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for all visitors. Work Interactions The position reports directly to the Director, Facilities Services, and will support the mission of Campus Ministry; there will be a supervisory dotted line from Campus Ministry. This position requires little to no supervision, and requires a strong and thorough understanding of the Facility Management industry. The individual must be able to work well with clients (students, faculty, staff, alumni), must possess a strong work ethic, must be able to instruct and direct others, must be able to work independently and make decisions and must be able to develop creative solutions when confronted with unique challenges. Pay Range: The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $44,022.00 - $73,406.80 Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
