Trulaske College of Business Department: Transformative Technology Job Description
The Center for Transformative Technology & Employer Engagement Coordinator plays a key role in supporting both the Center for Transformative Technology and the Employer & External Relations team at the Trulaske College of Business. This cross-functional role blends task oversight, stakeholder engagement, event execution, and data coordination to advance strategic initiatives that support student success and innovation. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, tech-savvy, and relationship-oriented, able to thrive in a dynamic environment with diverse internal and external collaborators. This position also provides critical administrative support to the combined team, assisting with scheduling, office logistics, and travel arrangements. Occasional evening or weekend event support and student supervision responsibilities are also expected. Task Management - Lead and coordinate multi-phase initiatives across both units, tracking timelines, deliverables, and meeting schedules. - Manage logistics for special initiatives related to transformative technology, student-facing programs, and employer/alumni collaboration. - Provide administrative support to the team including calendar coordination, meeting setup, supply procurement, and general office operations. - Coordinate travel and accommodations for staff, speakers, and guests. Event Planning - Plan and execute high-impact events including guest speaker sessions, case competitions, networking receptions, and site visits. - Oversee event logistics, vendor relations, materials, hospitality, and communications. - Ensure timely follow-up and post-event tracking. Stakeholder Engagement - Build and maintain relationships with external partners including employers, alumni, sponsors, and tech collaborators. - Serve as a key liaison to coordinate involvement in academic programs, mentorship, sponsorships, and strategic initiatives. - Work with students and faculty to facilitate real-world learning opportunities driven by industry needs. - Supervise student workers or interns assigned to assist with events, outreach, and operational tasks. Data & Systems Management - Maintain accurate records of employer, alumni, and sponsor activities in CRM systems. - Conduct research to support strategic outreach, trend analysis, and partnership development. - Generate reports and insights that support continuous improvement and engagement tracking. Other Duties - Perform other job-related duties as assigned to support the evolving needs of both the Center of Transformative Technology and Employer & External Relations team. Shift
Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM Occasional availability outside of regular business hours as needed Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of experience in project coordination, event planning, stakeholder relations, or educational programming - Experience with CRM and project management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Asana, Monday.com, etc.) - Strong organizational and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities across different stakeholders. - Familiarity with technology-driven education or innovation-based programs. Anticipated Hiring Range
