Position Summary: Working independently and collaboratively with others, this position plays an integral role in executing our mission, philosophy, and commitment to providing high quality products and exceptional customer service to our internal and external customers. In addition to maintaining a high level of trust, integrity and ethical standards, all employees are also expected to promote a culture of safety by following all safety procedures, protocols and guidelines while working in a manner that minimizes the risk of damage to property and injury to the employee and others. The Fabrication Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the fabrication department to ensure production goals, and customer quality and delivery expectations are met efficiently and safely. This role involves managing a team of fabricators, ensuring compliance with quality standards, maintaining equipment, acts as a safety role model and optimizing workflow processes. The Warn Group is a fully committed team-based organization. The Fabrication Supervisor must be a role model, leader, and coach. The Fabrication Supervisor is accountable to the Manufacturing Manager for team performance, and they must accomplish team objectives through team leadership and development. Essential Functions: The essential functions of this position include leading a group of Fabrication team members in a cost-efficient manner while supporting the development and maintenance of the plant. Prioritizing, and completing all essential functions in a timely and efficient manner, adjusting for changing priorities and availability of resources, and demonstrating initiative and application in continuous improvement in each aspect of the position's span of control. Availability Requirements: Due to the nature and scope of the essential functions of this position, the importance of personal interactions with coworkers and direct reports, and the availability of job-related tools, equipment and resources at work, performance of the essential functions requires regular, consistent availability, accessibility, and presence on-site and after-hours. The required number of hours per week will vary depending on what is required to efficiently perform the job duties of this position. This position will require availability and accessibility to respond to and address emergencies and critical situations outside of normal business operating hours in the early mornings, evenings and/or during weekends and holidays.
