Description Acara Solutions is seeking an experienced Assembly Mechanic for a full-time, permanent position in Tonawanda, NY. This position offers an opportunity to work hands-on assembling custom-built machinery used worldwide. You'll work closely with a team of assembly mechanics to assemble new equipment using diesel engines, steering axles, hydraulic components, and more. On-the-job training will be provided for specific assembly procedures. Key Responsibilities Assemble machinery using diesel engines, drive/steering axles, hydraulic pumps/motors, and 12V electric controls Integrate components onto fabricated chassis to create self-propelled paving/shouldering machines Follow mechanical and technical instructions and collaborate with other team members Perform additional shop duties as needed, directed by the foreman Regularly lift up to 75 pounds What You'll Get Direct hire Competitive Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with occasional overtime available Full Benefits Package Including: 100% company-paid single health insurance, Dental insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA), 401(k), Paid holidays, and Generous PTO & sick time Job Requirements Required Qualifications 10 years of mechanical experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with heavy equipment or machinery assembly Familiarity with diesel engine systems and hydraulic components Prior work in a manufacturing or industrial environment Technical/vocational training in mechanical assembly Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employers.
