About the job

Localization Specialist is responsible for managing localization projects handling a client portfolio from the production perspective; ensuring customer expectations are met in terms of turnaround time, and quality.

Main Responsibilities



  • Localization Specialist/Project manager and main POC for Juniper.net global sites
  • Customer Advocacy
  • Manage Machine translation and other projects for non-marketing stakeholders including TechLibrary, and Products, etc.
  • Manages linguistic assets - Glossaries, Translation memory, style guides
  • Manages linguistic quality initiatives with vendors
  • Responsible for service execution including compliance to deadlines, standards/methodology, quality standards, and status reporting
  • Oversee customer quotes, job setup, and scheduling.
  • Collaborates with Resource Management, linguists, technical leads on appropriate resourcing and query management based on client need(s)
  • Strong customer communication and ownership, as well as internal communication with localization team and across departments
  • Collaborates with Program Managers to define new processes/procedures and tool optimization for customers
  • Ensure linguistic material such as Translation Memory, glossaries, and style guides are consistently updated and delivered per client SLAs
  • Participate in pre-sales activities and prepare supporting documentation as needed
  • Participate in quality audits, recognize opportunities for improvement, and implement the corresponding changes as needed



Requirements

Educational Background

Bachelor's Degree in Translation or other degree or equivalent work experience

Professional Experience

5-7 years of practical experience in project management, especially in coordinating language service projects.

2-3 years managing people in the localization industry.

Excellent Customer oriented

Experience in Project Management

Experience in People Management

Excellent Analytical skills

Proficient in MS Office

Preferred knowledge in Design tools (InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)

Minimum Salary: $77,440.56

Maximum Salary:$111,320.81

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $77,440.56 and $111,320.81/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
