Instructional Designer- Immersive

Dunwoody College of Technology is seeking a tech-forward Instructional Designer to add to the college's 'Dunwoody Immersive' team. Dunwoody Immersive is a new dual credit program that provides college courses in the technical and skilled trades fields to high school students. The curriculum will utilize immersive technology to simulate learning labs in combination with lectures and assignments in the college's Learning Management System (Canvas) and provide educational opportunities to students across the country.

As an Instructional Designer for Dunwoody Immersive, you'll lead the charge in transforming learning experiences drawing from existing instructional modalities-face-to-face, hybrid, and online-and reshaping them in an automated way that focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR). Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with faculty and staff to reimagine lab-based courses using immersive VR environments and giving students hands-on learning opportunities no matter where they are located.   Bachelor's degree in instructional design, curriculum development, or a related field.

  3+ years of experience designing courses in higher education
