The Opportunity: This administrative support position serves the entire Division of Academic Innovation (DAI) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Worldwide Campus with a specific focus on the Executive Leadership team (Dean, Associate Deans, & Executive Directors). The Academic Innovation team is made up of diverse skill sets and individuals, including a Gaming & Simulation Developer, UX Research Analysts, Learning Support & Design Specialists, Instructional Technologists, Instructional Designers, Media Producers, and Instructional Consultants. Our team collaborates to create and implement innovative solutions and identify tools and technologies that address big challenges in education. This is an on-site position (not remote or hybrid) at Embry-Riddle Worldwide Headquarters in Daytona Beach, FL. The DAI Administrative Assistant supports the DAI and Executive Leadership team with budgetary tasks, division event planning, scheduling, documentation, and multiple other routine administrative duties. This individual assists the executive team in their interactions with leaders, faculty, and staff across the Worldwide campus. This individual is highly organized, has an outgoing personality, the ability to work and make decisions independently or as a member of a cross-functional team, and is able to prioritize tasks. Excellent interpersonal and computer skills are essential, as is the ability to project and promote a positive image of the Division of Academic Innovation, while supporting academic excellence in ERAU's teaching and learning environment. The individual should be a team player with a strong commitment to service, be self-motivated and independent, and possess at least 1-3 years' experience providing administrative support, preferably in an academic setting. This position will support a department of 65 plus individuals, where strong organizational skills will be critical. Required education: An associate's degree is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Compensation: The hourly pay range for this position is $16.00-17.00. The final offer will consider the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience, along with applicable state regulations, internal equity, and business needs. |
