Performs varying Q.C. technical functions throughout the Plant, using good judgment and reasoning skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION (Key Responsibilities)

  • Performs all of the work elements necessary to set up and prepare for Special Process Inspection operations
  • Processes various types of bearing component parts through each of the steps required, as outlines on Standard Procedure sheets provided at each processing unit or work area.
  • Inspects and identifies material defects such as seams, inclusions, laps and pipes. Inspects and identifies defects caused by machining operations such as water checks from burning and heat treat cracks.
  • Identifies each container of parts processed, originates and/or completes various inspection forms required
  • Checks solutions used in various units at regular intervals, (daily if in continuous use) for strength, level, and cleanliness.
  • Changes solutions as required and cleans all parts of equiptment, in accordance with written instructions posted in each work area.
  • Adhere to AS-9100 or customer specifications
  • Follow Ethics and Safety Programs
  • Adhere to all Export, Import and Supply Chain Security Policy requirement relevant to the position
  • Follow State and Federal Environmental Compliance Programs
  • Adhere to ISO 9000 Standards
  • Job duties include but are not limited to the above
