JOB TITLE:

Telephone Operator

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Part-time telephone operator for the University of Wyoming. Hours noon-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday (changing to 12:30-5 p.m. during the school year). On campus only (no remote work). Must be able to deal with repetitive questions, help confused callers find the right office, and deal with the occasional difficult caller. Knowledge of how the University works and University offices is helpful.

COMPETENCIES:

Communication and listening skills, customer service orientation, basic computer literacy, professionalism

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED, basic computer literacy, communication skills
