Job Description Perform completion of Organizational-Level, Intermediate-Level and Depot-Level aircraft maintenance tasks, repairs, modifications, Time Compliance Technical Orders and One-Time Inspections on CV-22 aircraft. Inspect and maintain aircraft avionics and electrical and environmental components. Perform acceptance inspections of critical flight control components after return from rework or upon receipt from manufacturer as well as aircraft acceptance and transfer inspections. Perform Scheduled and unscheduled Maintenance actions as required. Perform diagnosis, adjustments, repairs, and replacement of faulty aircraft electrical, environmental and avionics equipment/components. Troubleshoot avionics instrumentation, navigation, environmental control systems, and electrical components and assemblies utilizing wiring schematics and diagrams. Perform complex system/sub-system troubleshooting. Ensures aircraft and equipment forms and Maintenance Information System documentation is complete, accurate and accomplished. Ensures strict compliance and adherence with environmental directives and applicable environmental protection/compliance guidance. Ensures compliance with applicable government safety directives, standards, and industrial safety publications. Encourages a work environment of zero accident and injuries including no lost time accidents. On-the-job training and documentation of training of active-duty maintenance technicians as required. Travel to other CV-22 locations to perform maintenance repairs may be required. Additional duties as required. Standard Description Plans, coordinates, directs, and/or performs engineering assignments involving specifications for, and design changes or alterations to, aircraft, engines, systems, components, and field or shop equipment; investigates and analyzes project requirements and operating problems and develops recommended solutions to meet company governmental safety and performance standards including Minimum Equipment List (MEL); evaluates, selects, applies, and/or adapts engineering modifications; designs or recommends new or modified parts and components; analyzes reparability of parts and components; evaluates operating data on parts, components, and systems to establish causes and to determine remedies for wear, malfunctions, or premature removals; analyzes and evaluates aircraft and associated equipment proposals; prepares technical data, procedures, reports, drawings, manuals, and other required publications.
