Position Summary We are seeking a collaborative, analytical, highly motivated, detail-oriented and data-minded team member to join us in enhancing the Dallas College culture and work experience. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in understanding and enhancing the employee experience through research, analysis, organizational development, continuous improvement, and strategic initiatives. In-area travel to Dallas College locations required. The primary role of this position is to support the development and enhancement of organizational design and participate in implementing Organizational Development initiatives & change management interventions aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness, culture, and overall performance within the organization. Best Fit Profile: Someone with hands-on experience in organizational development (6 - 8 years of experience), knowledge of organizational design and design thinking competency frameworks, andorganizational effectiveness assessments. A Self-motivated and results-oriented individual with strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities and excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage, collaborate with, and influence stakeholders at all levels. Acumen for assessing organizational behavior and offering suggestions through data-backed insights as an internal consultant. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proven experience in conducting research and managing multiple data sets. Experience with research-based qualitative interviewing, focus groups, mixed method survey instrument development, and mixed method research including phenomenological study Experience leading goal-oriented and time-based taskforces and/or research projects Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful insights. Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with stakeholders. Demonstrated academic writing ability. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity and confidentiality. Proactive problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset. Ability to present findings and recommendations to diverse audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications. Ability to adapt to changes in work environment, work priorities, organizational and/or customer needs. Able to adhere to institutional and/or the organization's policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate focus groups and conduct interviews with employees to gather insights into their experiences, challenges, and suggestions for improvement. Design and implement surveys to collect mixed methods data on employee engagement, satisfaction, and organizational culture. Transcribe, Analyze data from focus groups, interviews, and surveys to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Prepare comprehensive research reports and presentations that communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement evidence-based strategies to enhance employee engagement and strengthen organizational culture. Manage multiple data sets, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality. Identify the most appropriate organization design structures to achieve identified vision, mission, and goals using well-established methodologies for efficient and effective organizational design Manage the implementation of change initiatives to ensure they are carried out effectively Conduct needs assessments to determine measures required to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance and overall organization performance Support leadership interventions and coaching measures as appropriate. Research trends and best practices in human resources, leadership development, talent acquisition, organizational development, and organizational behavior to support organizational goals Collect and analyze data related to organizational effectiveness, employee satisfaction, and performance metrics & KPIs. Develop and maintain competency frameworks that outline the skills, knowledge, and behaviors required for each role within the organization. Collaborate with key stakeholders to conduct comprehensive organizational assessments and ensure successful implementation of OD plans and initiatives. Analyze & interpret various organizational data, and prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management. Design and implement change management initiatives to drive organizational transformation. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging research in employee engagement and organizational psychology. Support other HR Employee Engagement initiatives and projects as needed.
Physical Requirements Normal physical job functions performed within a standard office environment. Fulltime employees must complete at least 19 hours of professional development annually. Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Human Resources, Education, Sociology, Psychology, Organizational Behavior, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in employee engagement research, organizational development, or related field. Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R) and survey design tools. Current and valid Texas driver's license required for offsite travel. Official transcripts are required.
Preferred Qualifications
Four or more years' experience of demonstrated research acumen. Research background in interpretive analysis Familiarity with Qualtrics, Excel, other management systems and software
