AN OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN THE NPT TEAM

The Director, Philanthropic Consulting is responsible for ensuring NPT's Consulting clients have the guidance and support they need to meet their philanthropic goals, and for contributing to the growth and continual enhancement of NPT's consulting practice.

Salary range is $115,000 - $135,000 plus 17.50% annual discretionary bonus

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Relationship Management: Serve as a member of the project team for various consulting clients. In specific cases, serve as the relationship manager and/or project manager. Develop and execute customized solutions to meet clients' needs, either independently or in collaboration with colleagues, including strategy development, coaching, training and deep sector research.
  • Thought Leadership: Work with Philanthropic Consulting colleagues as well as Communications & Marketing to craft resources for donor and advisors as well as thought-leadership content on philanthropic topics.
  • Project Management: Lead specific internal projects related to tracking projects, onboarding new clients, relationship touchpoints, hours, and fees as well as specific workflow enhancements.
  • Innovation: Propose new strategic offerings to meet donors' philanthropic goals and objectives; work with the team to develop and launch these offerings.



LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Provide exceptional care and stewardship to our consulting clients and other key relationships.
  • Lead project teams, providing strategic direction and delegating tasks effectively to ensure team members are working towards shared goals to meet clients' needs.
  • Work with teams across the organization and key stakeholders in support of NPT's mission and service promise to donors.
  • Cultivate a culture of integrity, inclusivity, and innovation.
  • Hold the highest level of regard for our donors and their charitable giving.
  • Suggest methods to improve service or add efficiencies.


WHAT YOU BRING:


  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in philanthropic consulting or advising strongly preferred, for high-net worth and ultra-high net worth philanthropists and or foundations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, creative problem-solving, and strategic thinking.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a proven ability to prioritize projects effectively.
  • Adaptability to manage competing priorities and navigate changes efficiently.
  • Unwavering commitment to quality and high personal performance standards.
  • Unquestionable integrity, reliability, and commitment to keeping promises.
  • Ability to admit mistakes, take responsibility for outcomes, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proven experience handling client concerns with tact and diplomacy.
