Scope:

Provide technical and logistical support to the engineering and production personnel. This may include: involvement in engineering prototype development, product transition and product support functions, production support, process improvement, yield improvement, as well as various engineering product and process related projects. Work with supervision and guidance to perform the following duties.

Hours: Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and setup test equipment and perform testing and troubleshooting of products and/or systems
  • Build, test and evaluate breadboard circuits with detailed instructions
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems on equipment and participate in root cause and corrective actions
  • Aid in the writing and maintenance of test procedures and support documentation.
  • Collect, and analyzedata and work with engineers to ensure products meet specifications. Take detailed notes on configuration of experiments, data, and deviation from expected results and changes to schematics as they occurs.
  • Set up standard and special equipment and conduct tests for products as directed to accomplish project goals
  • Instruct test personnel on the proper use of standard equipment and provide technical support, training and guidance as required for engineering technicians and testers.
  • Take detailed and accurate notes on configuration of experiments, data, and deviation from expected results and changes to the product baseline as they occur.
  • Work with other functions such as design engineering, project engineering, and manufacturing to keep technical information updated and accurate."
  • Perform qualification, verification and validation for new products and procedures, and changes to existing products procedures

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must have demonstrated ability to read and analyze basic schematics with guidance (analog, digital, RF etc.)
  • Must havethe ability to train others and work as a member of inter-disciplinary teams.
  • Must have proficient PC skills, proficiency in the use of most Windows based software. This includes, but is not limited to Word, AutoCAD, Excel,and other standard programs.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be able to collect, interpret and present data to supervisor or project leader
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new skills due to continually changing work environment.
  • Good time management skills.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work basic supervision and a sense of urgency to meet production goals and customer expectations.

Education:

Associate Degree in Mechanical, Materials or Electrical Engineering.5 Years Relevant Experience is acceptable, if no Associate Degree is preferred.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
