About the Team

The Web Merchandising team is a key function in the Direct to Consumer (DTC) organization that collaborates cross-functionally to help Pottery Barn Kids continue to create an immersive, ecommerce first experience for our consumers. The team drives site merchandising strategy and execution for all categories, collaborating with merchandising to drive site implementation of product and content strategy, consumer experience strategy and optimization as well as with the digital operations team.

About the role

As an Assistant Website Merchandiser you will execute online business, merchandise, and marketing strategies for multiple product divisions across seasonal launches within the Pottery Barn Kids brand to maximize sales. You will implement site changes to drive conversion, work cross-functionally with creative, merchandising, and e-marketing teams to ensure flawless execution, and participate in a dynamic, fast-paced, and fun team environment.

Responsibilities



  • Execute product launches, promotions and markdowns across product pages and shop paths
  • Review and execute eCommerce merchandising goals and strategies to drive sales, conversion and site KPIs
  • Review site content, site feedback and implement changes to enhance overall customer experience across site and across channels
  • Determine and manage all image asset requests and direction for each product launch, which includes attending offsite photo locations
  • Identify and recommend new site content and experiences to address customer needs based on analytics, feedback, surveys, and competitive analysis
  • Interface with merchandising teams to ensure site data integrity and correct product set-up
  • Interface with site managers, project management and e-technology team for timely database uploads, site deployments, and reporting of issues
  • Manage database uploads to merchant preview, dev, and QA testing environments
  • Coordinate and participate in daily site testing to ensure correct data integrity
  • Review dashboards and maintain sharing out weekly reporting covering site KPIs and trends across owned departments. Further analyze data and provide actionable insights to delivering growth
  • Other projects as assigned


Qualifications



  • Bachelors Degree required plus 1-2 years previous eCommerce, catalog or digital marketing experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong affinity for the product/concept
  • Able to make timely decisions, anticipate problems and provide creative solutions
  • Well-organized and extremely detail oriented
  • Proven analytical and business planning skills
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and a changing environment
  • Action-oriented and full of energy for challenges
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with stakeholders
  • Ability to present data and insights to non-technical audience
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and manage priorities
  • Strong attention to detail: ability to work with large datasets with accuracy and precision, carefully follows instructions to complete tasks
  • Ability to work constructively and effectively with a broad group of business partners
  • This role requires being onsite in the San Francisco office Monday through Thursday and Friday as optional in the office

The expected starting pay range for this position is $29-$33/HR. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets.
