About this Opportunity:

The Multi-Systemic Therapist (MST) provides multi-systemic therapy to youth who exhibit frequent delinquent behaviors or substance abuse and are at high risk of out-of-home placement. Services are provided to both the child and the family in a home-based setting at times that are convenient to the family. MST is an intensive family and community-based treatment that addresses the multiple determinants of serious delinquent behavior in juvenile offenders. The worker utilizes a system of intervention which requires complex networking with interconnected systems that encompass individual, family and extrafamilial (peer, schools, neighborhood, court) factors. Interventions may be necessary in any one or any combination of these systems. The MST Program provides services to families in Kent County referred from Kent County Circuit Court, Kent County Department of Health and Human Services or Network 180.
