Job Summary:

The Quality Systems Engineer Technician is responsible for maintaining all systems associated with the plant's accreditations and for performing internal quality audits on manufacturing processes. This position reports to the Quality Manager.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Associate's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in data analysis within a business or manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros).

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Ability to multi-task and respond to problems quickly.
  • Strong technical writing skills are desired.
  • Prior experience with Compliance-Pro or Compliance-Quest is helpful.
  • Familiarity with SAP or SAP S4 HANNA is helpful.
  • Ability to track and analyze plant/operational data, develop charts and metrics to highlight trends, and make actionable recommendations based on data.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all systems associated with the plant's accreditations (e.g., ISO-9001, IATF 16949, ISO-14000).
  • Write and/or edit Quality Procedures and Operator Inspection Sheets to ensure compliance with established quality systems.
  • Maintain or create an electronic system to track Customer Satisfaction and Corrective Actions based on various inputs.
  • Maintain and update an index of all quality requirements.
  • Performs and manage all internal quality audits, including system audits, manufacturing process audits, and special process audits, as required by customers and IATF.
