About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Counselor II to join our collaborative care team in Dover, NH. In this role, you'll provide direct clinical services-including individual, family, and group therapy-to patients experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges. You'll also facilitate psychosocial assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support patients' overall well-being.
This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, team-based setting that values clinical excellence, community connection, and holistic care.
Schedule: Monday-Friday with evening coverage until 6:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays (flexibility available)
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based approaches
*Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments
*Develop, document, and implement patient-centered treatment plans
*Offer crisis intervention and short-term stabilization support
*Collaborate with primary care and specialty providers to coordinate care and support patients in accessing resources
*Participate in case consultations, clinical team meetings, and quality initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field of study.
  • Active New Hampshire licensure as one of the following:
    • LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker)
    • LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor)
    • LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist)
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
  • Strong knowledge of the DSM and experience with evidence-based therapy modalities
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Experience navigating systems of care and advocating for client needs
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
