STUDENT LAB SUPPORT STAFF The Center for Biocatalysis & Bioprocessing (CBB) is looking for lab support staff to ensure the facility maintains the daily, weekly, biweekly, and monthly tasks needed to support operations. We are a facility located off the main campus at Oakdale Research Park. While the CBB supports research programs for graduate students within the University, this role will center on the advancement of our contract manufacturing facility where in the CBB staff produces biotech products for external clients. Duties: Disinfecting surfaces, general cleaning of the manufacturing suite, mopping and sweeping floors, collecting trash, recycling materials, washing lab materials and glassware, monitoring temperatures of controlled spaces, refilling basic buffers and solutions, operating the autoclave, gaining an understanding of and putting into practice good documentation practices (GDP), monitoring inventory for expiration dates, running short errands, and assisting professional staff on special projects on an as needed basis. Pay: $15.00 per hour Experience & Skills Required: Little to no experience. Training will be provided. Hours: 20 hours per week maximum during the academic year and up to 30 hours per week during summer break. Working any 4-hour period is permitted Monday-Thursday, but afternoon hours between noon-5:00 pm are preferred on Friday.
