The Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University Irvign Medical Center is seeking psychologists assigned to provide clinical and academic services within the Faculty Practice Organization. These are full-time, clinical positions in an outpatient setting. Positions are available for mutiple specialities.

Primary responsibilities involve conducting diagnostic/intake evaluations of patients, as well as individual and group therapy utilizing evidence-supported treatments. Ideal applicants should have previous experience providing outpatient treatment, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well across disciplines and function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Additional preference for candidates with experience in evidence-supported treatment delivery for trauma, depression, anxiety, sleep problems and/or personality disorders.

Candidates will have opportunities to attend case conferences, peer supervision, and Grand Rounds at CUIMC. Candidates will work closely with a clinical team, including other psychologists/social workers, psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse-practitioners. Opportunities may exist for clinical supervision and teaching.

This role includes opportunities for additional compensation aligned with the department's comprehensive compensation plan.

Minimum Educational Requirements:



  • PsyD or PhD in Clinical Psychology
  • NYS license required.
  • Candidates will be required to obtain a NJ license.
  • Depending on site,may also be required to obtain a CT license.
