The Job The Analytics Solution Lead serves as the critical link between business stakeholders and technical teams (development, data science, data warehouse and infrastructure) by understanding business objectives and developing requirements and designs for proposed data and analytic solutions. The individual acts as a trusted advisor to his/her stakeholders by supporting delivery of insights critical to the achievement of goals and objectives, advocates for use cases that will generate the largest impact for SCAN, and proactively helps develop and maintain a long-term roadmap. You Will
- Partners with business stakeholders to solve complex business problems by designing custom data and analytics solutions to support informed decision-making in pursuit of critical outcomes for the organization.
- Interprets and develops business requests into well-defined requirements and acceptance criteria, using sound business acumen and deep understanding of data and technical platforms within the context of the operating environment.
- Recommends proposed solutions with current knowledge of AI tools and techniques that can be used to solve business problems, where appropriate, and an understanding of the fundamental capabilities of the tools and accompanying infrastructure needed for the Data and Analytics team to deliver the solutions.
- Responsible for exploratory data analysis, as well as creation of wireframes, mock-ups, and proofs of concept to ensure the scope of work presented to delivery teams will meet the needs of the business.
- Supports technical delivery teams with actionable Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and acts as a liaison to business stakeholders during the development cycle, including providing definitions for terms, supplying business logic, and supporting issue resolution.
- Leads User Acceptance Testing (UAT) against documented acceptance criteria and exercises judgement in considering modifications or enhancements that should be incorporated in the current development cycle, and those that constitute an expansion of scope to be considered for future delivery.
- Continuously grooms the backlog of requests and prioritizes those which will generate the greatest impact.
- Maintains expertise in relevant business domains and proactively initiates regular touchpoints with business stakeholders to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and advise on possible solutions.
- Provides thought leadership and promotes best practices to deliver effective, user-friendly and sustainable solutions.
- Actively support the achievement of SCAN's Vision and Goals.

Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Analytics, or Technology related discipline or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of related professional experience required.
- 3+ years of experience in the healthcare field, preferably in a payor or managed care setting with emphasis on clinical analytics.
- Experience with querying and manipulating data structures in on-premises or cloud data warehouses (SQL, Snowflake, Databricks), as well as report creation and data visualization tools such as SSRS, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.
- Experienced in creating best-in-class solutions with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SSRS) with demonstrated ability to design effective and easy to use interfaces for a wide range of personas.
- Knolwedge of operations and data utilized in Medicare Advantage or other managed care models, with emphasis on claims, coding, and pharmacy datasets.
- Comfortable interviewing and presenting to all levels of management.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Snowflake, Databricks).
- Proficient in querying and manipulating data structures with SQL
- Familiarity with AI tools and techniques, machine learning, data science, and advanced statistical techniques and concepts.
- Able to work in a scaled Agile framework.
- Experienced working with both onshore and offshore development teams.
- Can effectively prioritize requests based on business need and estimated impact.
- Self-starter with excellent organizational and project management skills.
