GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: Conducts all activities required for test validation & verification (V&V), for products and contained systems, mechanical, electrics/electronics or software elements as assigned. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Under general supervision, debugs moderately complex products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products.
- Contributes to the development and implementation of a suitable verification and validation strategy at the defined integration levels based on given standards.
- Identify production defects and test deficiencies, report issues in standard format, and track through correction.
- Ability to perform data acquisition tasks, logging files, analyze data and create documents to compare with theoretical analysis.
- Perform measurements and provide the data to the project test team lead.
- Understands data acquisition software test fundaments and methodologies.
- Experience with debugging tools to analyze test failures and find root causes.
- Reviews contractual requirements to ensure internal requirements, procedures, and specifications compliance.
- Analyzes and implements corrective action requests and provides feedback for continuous improvement.
- Publishes and revises test engineering procedures and policies (as required).
- Create test solutions and support other test engineers in projects.
- Planning, strategizing, and exectuting validation activities.
- Exposure or experience in ISO 9000 or ISO 9001 Quality Management System

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 4-year college/university education in technical field (prefer Electrical), or equivalent experience required.
- 1+years related experience.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in an Electrical or Mechanical engineering role.

- Office environment
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
