Your top negotiation skills are used daily so that Cisco is ambitious in the marketplace and our customers love our products.Cisco Global Supplier Management (GSM) team is seeking a motivated Supplier Commodity Manager for "Passive, Discrete, and Logic (PD&L)". You will be part of a highly impactful and dynamic organization collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers. Responsible and accountable for the Commodity Strategy and the Supply-base executing and enabling it Responsible and accountable for all aspects of supplier relationship management including all technical, commercial, delivery, and quality while working across partner supply chain organizations like Technology & Quality, Manufacturing, and Product Operations Working closely with Global planning and fulfillment teams to track inventory, CT2R, and ensure continuity of supply. This includes lead time management, Strategic Inventory Planning, Sophisticated purchase proposals and such Managing quarterly negotiations of component cost and lead-times Performance Management: Executive Escalations / Resolutions, Scorecards / Business Reviews on Cost, Quality, Delivery, Technology, and Partnership Proactively using data to assess issues, risk assessment, work and collaborate cross-functional to provide proposals to mitigate the risk and see and follow through with the plan to implement. Identifying, tracking, and collaborating across functions on appropriate Market Indicators for the assigned Industry, anticipating market trends and transitions Negotiating, and driving all aspects/terms of legal settlement/agreements such as MPAs, MOU, Capacity agreement, VMI agreements and such Influence the suppliers in investments that meet Cisco's future requirements Required Qualifications 7+ years of cross functional Supply Chain experience 7+ years of experience managing supplier relationships 7+ years negotiating contracts/agreements with suppliers Preferred Qualifications Demonstrate the ability to plan, develop, and execute short-, mid-, and long-term strategies across the supply chain and Engineering Expertise in building positive relationships internally and externally, and conflict resolution Adept at influencing decisions and developing solutions to complex business situations Strong experience with collaboration, communications, negotiations, facilitation and change management Ability to work across boundaries, earning trust, taking risk and being inclusive is highly valued Excellent skills in supplier management, and contracts review and management #WeAreCisco where every individual brings their unique skills and perspectives together to pursue our purpose of powering an inclusive future for all.Our passion is connection-we celebrate our employees' diverse set of backgrounds and focus on unlocking potential.
