Position Summary:




  • Serves as a communication resource and coordinator of information for patients, families, visitors, and members of the health care team
  • The Patient Information Coordinator handles all non-clinical administrative aspects of the patient care unit
  • Performs clerical and support duties necessary to prepare and maintain inpatient and outpatient medical records
  • Performs a variety of integral activities to assist medical, nursing, and administrative staff to meet unit, department, and institutional needs
  • Offers friendly and courteous assistance to every patient, their families, and health care team members to ensure a collaborative environment in which patients may have a positive experience while at Johns Hopkins



Education:




  • High school diploma or equivalent



Work Required:




  • Six months of related experience



Shift:




  • Full Time
  • 40 Hours Per Week
  • Rotating Day/Evening Shift

Salary Range: Minimum $15.23/hour - Maximum $25.09/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
