Overview
The Surgical Implant Inventory Coordinator provides and maintains an appropriate inventory of implants, equipment and supplies within the constraints of the annual budget. Works with purchasing buyers and vendors to facilitate purchase of inventory. Qualifications Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA), Education: , Work Experience: Purchasing; Materials management Responsibilities Maintains inventory database and manages inventory levels. Resolves inventory inaccuracies and completes cycle counts and annual inventory. Makes physical changes to inventory shelves as needed. Manages the flow of implants and other supplies. Restocks assigned supplies daily and keeps shelving information current. Works with purchasing buyers and vendors to facilitate purchase of implants and supplies for anticipated implants. Assists OR staff with planning for specialty patient care and in locating supplies. Updates staff on supplies and changes in supplies. Prepares and maintains tray sheets for all implants on trays. Restocks implant trays. Ensures patient charges are entered. Stays abreast of regulatory issues related to implants and tracking them. Orders instrumentation or equipment as needed. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $15.32per hour - $24.82per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
