Fincantieri Marinette Marine currently has an opportunity for a Human Resources Intern at the Marinette, WI location.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for numerous activities and learning experiences within the Fincantieri Marine Group Human Resources department, working closely with the Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Benefits, and Employee Relations areas of HR.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • Participate in internal recruitment intake calls to assist and learn about new requisitions.
  • Screening applications and professional profiles to identify suitable candidates to fill company job vacancies.
  • Reviewing incomplete applications and calling applicants to assist in application completion or dispositioning.
  • Assist in organizing interviews with shortlisted candidates.
  • Assisting the HR Talent Acquisition department with onboarding activities for new hires.
  • Assisting in the research, planning, execution, and participation of internal company career events and/or external career events.
  • Preparing and sending offer and rejection letter communications to candidates.
  • Researching and collecting data for various HR initiatives and projects.
  • Data entry, filing, and other administrative HR responsibilities.
  • Must abide by and enforce all organizational policies and procedures.
