Job Description:

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal production/process and manufacturing quality audits to the established schedule and ensure compliance to established controls, internal requirements, as well as industry standards, regulations, and other external requirements

  • Document and communicate audit results to process owners and all levels of the organization

  • Generate audit action items, provide support to the assignees and recommend solutions; tracking items to closure.

  • Identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement and ensure cascading impacts to the quality management system are identified

  • Monitor ongoing changes to the quality management system, assist stakeholders with the change process and administer the tool (currently SharePoint), maintaining the integrity of the tool and the data within it

  • Contribute to audit and quality objectives planning

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that influence wider business processes, with a focus on quality management system integration.

Compensation Range: $70,200-$87,800

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience

  • Experience in quality audits and working knowledge of Quality System Management per ISO 9001:2015/ AS9100. Certification as a Quality Auditor is a plus

  • Ability to analyze complex data, apply strategic thinking, and identify solutions to solve the problem/improve the process

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to collaborate and effectively communicate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization

  • Excellent organization and time management skills; able to work independently to prioritize and work on multiple tasks while meeting timeliness objectives

  • Working knowledge of SharePoint is a plus

  • Strong experience with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
