Cellar Technician

Under general supervision, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and excellence of our wines. This position involves various tasks, including tank sanitation, sampling, blending, and fermentation maintenance, while also operating designated machinery. To thrive in this role, you should have basic knowledge and experience in data entry into wine inventory databases. Your responsibilities will include safely and efficiently operating all assigned equipment to meet or exceed production goals in a cost-effective manner. Maintaining a clean, organized, and Food Safety compliant work area is essential, as is performing routine production reporting and quality checks. You will be expected to consistently perform all in-process and final production quality control and verification checks.

What You Will Need:

* High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate; or one year of experience in wine production or manufacturing.

* Forklift certification and operation as needed.

* Required to wear a respirator when necessary.

* Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

* Required to work at heights and in small areas.

* Required to comply with company GMP policies.

* Skilled in writing simple correspondence.

* Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.

* Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

* Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:

• Hiring Salary Range Posted: $17.63 - $23.84 / hourly
• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
