Join our dynamic team as an Operations Tech, where under direct supervision, you will play a crucial role in the operation of our state-of-the-art packaging equipment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in machine operation, maintenance, and quality control in a supportive and inclusive environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for loading packaging materials into machinery, performing machine changeovers, setups, inspections, and monitoring tasks. You will also engage in sanitation and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring our production line operates smoothly and efficiently. Your ability to operate production line equipment safely and efficiently will help us meet or exceed production goals in a cost-effective manner.
We value continuous improvement and encourage all team members to actively participate in initiatives that enhance our processes. Keeping your work area clean and organized, you will adhere to food safety standards and general housekeeping duties. You will also execute routine production reporting, quality checks, and perform in-process and final production quality control and verification checks.
Effective communication is key in this role, as you will interact with team members, leadership, and other departments. You will support and follow improvements to work policies and procedures, contributing to the creation and sustainment of operational support documents. Your responsibilities will include operating and training others on basics, completing tank sanitation, sampling, blending, and working on various truck stations for shipping and receiving.
