The Opportunity

The Senior Technology Project Manager ensures the successful delivery of assigned technology projects and works with the Manager, Technology Project Office, to provide strategic support to the CTO for cross-functional initiatives, optimization of processes, and facilitation of effective communication. The role seeks to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and impact of the Technology Group.

What You'll Do



  • Leads technology projects as a project manager and acts as program manager for projects led by less experienced project managers.
  • Partners consistently and effectively with other areas of the technology group as well as with partners in other areas of the business.
  • Exhibit ownership and produce results for all projects under responsibility.
  • Assesses risks and proactively develops mitigation plans.
  • Provides strategic program management leadership for a select program of technology investments.
  • Manages and negotiates contracts in coordination with key stakeholders, including legal and procurement, as appropriate.
  • Collaborates consistently with the Technology organization and across Ulteig's operations to seek out adequate internal or external resources to support projects.
  • Drives elements of the broader office of the CTO, including vendor management, demand management, special projects, and broad portfolio return analysis.
  • Analyzes and manages the organization's business processes, workflows, and communication.
  • May act as an internal consultant and project manager in helping the organization maximize efficiency.
  • May provide communication support, planning, and thought partnership to the Chief Technology Officer.
  • Mentors, develops, and provides growth opportunities for less experienced team members.
  • Stays abreast of program and project management methodologies and approaches.
  • Demonstrates exceptional leadership, verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships internally and externally.
  • Consistently exercises discretion and judgment as related to the performance of duties and responsibilities.

What We Expect from You



  • A Bachelor's Degree in business, project management, technology, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • 8+ years of experience in program or project management. Experience in business-related functions such as management, strategy, operations, finance, and/or HR is beneficial.
  • Must possess well-rounded knowledge of commonly used program and project management concepts, practices, and procedures. PMP or Agile Certification is desired.
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce results within tight timeframes
  • Excellent relationship building
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • Conflict resolution to achieve win-win outcomes
  • Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple, concurrent projects while meeting aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment, including the ability to manage multiple project resources with extensive project planning and execution skills.
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

          Additional Opportunity Details:
          Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $130,400- $176,500
          * Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job-specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role, and comparison to other employees already in this role
